Nice bike store along the main road. The staff were great, great outdoor related items and were plenty of them, great atmosphere, and convenient to a bakery/eatery next door if you want to grab a quick bite to eat. Worth checking out!

A BV staple! Has everything you need for hiking, climbing, camping, or just clothes for wearing to dinner tonight. Staff is friendly and they have a rewards program which is great if you are in BV regularly. Skip the big box "outdoor" store and shop at The Trailhead.

Kind of disappointed in this place. We brought our skis and snowboards here to be waxed and whoever did them did a very sloppy job. I had to come home and scrape off all the excess wax that was left on my board and my boyfriends skis. Not to mention the entire edge around my board and his skis were left with wax on them….. thank god we checked because we wouldn’t of had an edge going down the mountain. Tried supporting the local shop but will taking my business elsewhere from now on, I’ve never gotten my board back from a wax looking like this.

The guy who helped us was super nice and even said how the guy who did our board and skis left a lot of excess and wasn’t as ocd as he was when it came to scarping everything off.

Great store and wonderful staff. Each time I go in multiple staff ask if I need help and when I do, they’re eager to make sure I get what I need. Staff is always super knowledgeable and helpful.

Outstanding in every aspect. Interacted with two of their employees in 4 visits and they both were not only helpful but also super nice in a rare non fake salesperson sorta way. They did a great job mounting ATK Trofeos on my skis and charged much less for a XC bindings mount than listed (since it was a simpler job than usual). When they couldn't help me with some Marker Alpinist bindings they had super helpful tips on where to go and more importantly where NOT to go. Keep up the good job and I'll be a happy customer for life!

The store is a wonderful collection of outdoor goods for hiking and camping. They have a good variety of clothes, shoes, and equipment. The process are a little high but you can purchase everything in one spot and have it for immediate use. The staff where very knowledgeable and helpful. There is a restaurant here also but were not hungry at the time we visited the store.

Had some questions about microspikes, and the person who helped me was friendly, informed, and answered all my questions without being pushy. I could spend hours browsing their selection of books, maps, clothing and gear. Bonus: my wife picked up some sourdough bread at the adjoining restaurant and it was so good it may be in my top 5 bread experiences! My only complaint was that there were no obvious price tags on the maps. Otherwise, it’s a must-stop for outdoor enthusiasts!

We were in Buena Vista for the day and decided to stop in. Glad we did! It's an outdoor equipment store on one side and a restaurant on the other. The place is neat, clean, and has a fun, great vibe. The young girl checking us out at the counter was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks came out quickly. I had the broccoli and cheese soup (absolutely delicious!) with homemade bread and my husband had the chicken salad and tomato soup. Our food was very good and the prices were decent. We will be back. Oh, and look for the day old treats. They were only $2!
