Incredible service, great selection. Clothes are graded with colors so you can easily see your sizes. When they do trades (not all the time obviously, eyes on socials help) you can really keep things sustainable! I swapped out pieces I no longer wear for a leather jacket I now wear daily. I also have multiple other items (including the pictures pants) I’ve purchased there in amazing second hand condition. Adore the concept, adore the staff, adore the store.

Have been going into Beg, Steal and borrow since 2021 !!! It’s a wonderful shop and only has got better over the years.
Staff always friendly and happy to help ?♥️ can always find a gem or two ? oh and the events are fabulous as well!!

Erin is lovely! She might sometimes look a bit busy in the shop on her laptop, (running a small business is hard!) but if you just approach her she is super happy to help and chat. So grateful this kind of shop exists, with loads of different unique items. I traded in 4 items I didn’t want or need (told they were good to bring in via IG, to which I got super quick replies). Anyways- I got a lot more credit than I thought! I was hoping for about £20 at most but got very nearly double that. The credit doesn’t have an expiry either so I don’t have to stress about finding something in short time. I can see how much this business means to her and it’s such a smart idea too.

I feel like I always find pieces I’d never think of wearing or finding anywhere else. Affordable prices especially compared to vintage shops. Absolutely love it here!! My all time favourite sustainable fashion shop! ?♻️ It's a very cute & funky shop in Afflecks (& also can shop online too) where you can buy unique and affordable second hand clothes and also trade in your own suitable pieces in exchange for a gift card to spend in store! The Owner is so sweet, helpful & uplifting and so are the other shop assistants! They also run swap shops & other amazing events based in Manchester, so I beg ? you to go check it out!! Everytime I visit Beg, Steal & Borrow I feel so welcome. It's such a change of pace to the highstreet, I love looking through new stock, buying secondhand plus size is difficult but the shop is well curated. As for the staff and owner I can't fault them in any regard, always ready to help and go out of their way more often than not and are always a friendly face and a great laugh. I have both bought and traded at the shop and it has always been smooth and easy, the concept of the shop is a great way of keeping clothing out of landfill or stuck in the back of your wardrobe . Erin is a real life angel who has created a truly gorgeous space in Afflecks. She has been nothing but kind, supportive and helpful since I moved to Manchester and despite the shop being small in size you can tell that it’s got a big heart running the show behind the scenes. In addition to that, even though the shop itself may be small - she offers a wide selection of garments and accessories including a plus size range which is sadly rare in preloved clothing shops.

Definitely definitely pay her and her lovely team a visit because I’m sure you’ll leave happy and probably carrying something undeniably slay. xxx
